What were you doing before coming to study with us?

I was doing my intermediate studies in India. But my passion was in the culinary arts. I looked to find the best school and here I am. 

What are/were the highlights of your course?

Learning all the skills to become a great baker. I really enjoyed the baking and pastries part of the programme, and that has helped me into my current role as a Baker at Countdown Supermarkets group. We produce an enormous amount of baked goods and I’m really proud to be part of the team. 

How did you get the job?

I found the job through my online search, and then I applied. The NSIA Careers team helped me with my CV and gave me valuable advice about the interview process. 

What are the highlights of your job?

I really enjoy baking, dough making and then packing. 

What are your goals for the future?

My future goal is to become a professional baker, and I’m working hard to gain the experience.
