Welcome to the world of Hospitality!
North Shore International Academy (NSIA) has its main campus in Albany with a satellite campus in central Auckland. It was first registered as a training establishment in October 2002. In the past eight years NSIA has grown to become one of the largest private training establishments in New Zealand offering hospitality programmes with an anticipated 900 equivalent full time students in 2010.
NSIA’s is led by Head of School Otto Groen QSM, a doyen of the New Zealand hospitality industry. The 40-strong teaching team is well qualified and has extensive experience in the hospitality industry.
NSIA has designed the courses to provide a flexible timetable allowing for its candidates' busy lifestyles, blending recreation, study and employment.
Our training processes follow a high educational and instructive standard that is set by NZQA and the Hospitality Standards Institute. This enables the tutors to fully develop the students' learning skills, their ability to adapt well to all working situations as well as the necessary management skills. The students therefore will acquire the confidence to apply their newly developed abilities to any future hospitality career. The candidate will feel that the skills they have received from training at NSIA are immediately useful and facilitate advancement in their career.
