We have strong relationships with industry partners from Auckland’s highest quality hotels, restaurants and bakeries that are happy to support you in gaining work experience in both the kitchen and front of house positions. Many students from NSIA find their first job in New Zealand through this practical exposure to the hospitality industry.
As part of our student support systems here at CONNECT, we also provide testimonials on successful NSIA students (that have found paid work in New Zealand), and these are displayed along the walls of our two campuses. Hundreds of students find employment through CONNECT’s services each year both in relevant part and full time positions.
It is NSIA’s long term goal to work closely with our industry partners to provide qualified graduates that meet the needs of the job opportunities available. Our advisory board members include industry business managers, hospitality CEOs, business enterprise associations, hotel HR directors, council government officer, and academic experts.
