Accommodation arrangement is available to international students on request. Student must fill the Accommodation Application Form if you are willing to live with a home stay family. NSIA will try the best to find a home stay family for you in 10 working days according to your requirement stated in the application. All home stay families in NSIA home stay programme are carefully selected. Students staying in a home stay are required to exhibit appropriate behaviour. Please check with the accommodation arrangement officer for Home stay information for students.
NSIA charges $200 for each home stay arrangement. The arrangement service includes:
• Careful selection of the home stay family to meet the student’s preferences.
• Contact Home stay Caregivers
• Arrange pick-up as requested and $100 will be charged for each airport pick-up.
• Help the student and the Home stay Caregivers to reach a Home stay agreement.
• The home stay arrangement fee is non-refundable.
For students under the age of 18, NSIA will also:
• Manage the student’s Home stay fees as requested.
• Regularly monitor the satisfaction of the Home stay placement
• Approve student holiday and travel arrangements within New Zealand
